The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the sale of its nomination and expression of interest forms originally scheduled to end on Saturday, May 2, 2026, to Monday evening, May 4, 2026.
Similarly, the party also shifted the deadline for the submission of forms from Saturday to Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
At a news conference on Thursday held at the APC’s National Secretariat, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, said the need to extend the date became necessary because of the public holiday on Friday nationwide.

He said the decision was reached to allow aspirant members who are yet to obtain the forms to participate in the exercise.
Meseko said: “The NWC met, and we took some decisions. I wish to announce that the sales of nomination forms which should have ended on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 for offices have now been extended till midnight on Monday, May 4th 2026.
“Also, the submission of forms, which was to be Saturday, has now been extended till Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, while screening will now take place on Wednesday, May 6th 2026.
“As you all know, there is a public holiday on Friday, and we have been getting calls from all the states, so that is the major reason we are shifting the date so as to give room to all members willing to buy the form to participate.”
