Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its primary elections, where candidates to fly the party’s ticket emerged.
Naijaonpoint reports that serving governors, set to conclude their terms by 2027, former governors, and incumbent lawmakers dominated the list of candidates which emerged from across the nation.
However, candidates are yet to emerge in some senatorial districts as primary election results are either pending, inconclusive, or the exercise is yet to be conducted due to internal disputes, zoning disagreements, logistical challenges and postponements.
Below is a breakdown of the APC senatorial candidates who have emerged from each state of the federation.
