According to a report by Premium Times on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, Yusuf Gagdi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Navy, has expressed confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will emerge victorious in the 2027 general election, maintaining that the opposition has not shown the level of political coordination required to unseat President Bola Tinubu.
