2027: Stop Misleading Tinubu, APC Group Warns Ododo, Abejide

Stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) under the auspices of Concerned APC Leaders have issued a stern warning to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo and the Honourable Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide, to desist forthwith from misleading President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the viability of candidates chosen to represent the party for the National Assembly Elections come 2027.

The stakeholders made this declaration in a press statement issued by its Secretary, Hon. Mohammed Tijani, in Lokoja on Monday.

The stakeholders stated that both Ododo and Abejide are known characters in the party who seek their own personal and selfish interests as against the collective interest of the party in the state

The stakeholders stated that it is aware of several failed attempts by the duo to mislead Tinubu, GCFR, on issues surrounding candidates for the 2027 National Assembly elections in the state.

The stakeholders in the statement noted that the duo are using dubious antics, including the use of fake social media posts, to deceive Tinubu.

They used the opportunity to warn the duo to desist from misleading the president.

The stakeholders appealed to Tinubu not to succumb to the deceitful antics of the duo.

They added that the duo are using the opportunity to plunge the party into a serious crisis in the state, making it vulnerable for opposition parties to exploit.

The statement reads “For the avoidance of doubts, candidates already chosen to fly the party flags for the 2027 National Assembly Elections in the state are grassroots politicians with proven track record and achievements to deliver for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027”.
