Nigeria’s Super Falcons will play against either Sudan or Comoros in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2028 Olympic Games.
Sudan and Comoros will first compete against each other in a two-legged match between June 1 and June 9. The team that wins will then face Nigeria.
The matches between the Super Falcons and their opponent will take place from October 5 to October 13.
The qualification series will have five rounds in total.
Only two teams from Africa will qualify for the women’s football event at the 2028 Olympic Games.
At the last Olympics held in Paris, France, Nigeria and Zambia represented Africa.
The 2028 Olympic Games will be held in Los Angeles from July 11 to July 29.
