Social media influencer and content creator Brianna Johnson, popularly known as DreamDoll Bri, has died after being shot while leaving a party in Miramar, police have confirmed. She was 21.
According to the Miramar Police Department, the shooting occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5, as Johnson and two other people were travelling in a fluorescent green Lamborghini SUV.
Police said multiple shots were fired at the vehicle, which continued for about a block before crashing into a stop sign.
Officers responded after receiving a ShotSpotter alert and found all three occupants suffering from critical gunshot wounds. They were rushed to nearby hospitals, where Johnson later succumbed to her injuries.
Speaking on the investigation, Delrish Moss said detectives are examining whether the Lamborghini had been deliberately followed before the shooting.
“Certainly they targeted this particular car for some reason. We’re trying to figure out why,” Moss said.
He added that investigators currently have limited information about the suspect and are working to determine the identity of the shooter and the motive behind the attack.
Johnson rose to prominence through her lifestyle content and music on social media. She was widely recognized for her viral song Bend Ova, which gained massive popularity on TikTok. At the time of her death, she had amassed more than 370,000 followers on TikTok and over 85,000 followers on Instagram.
Police say investigations into the fatal shooting are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
