Osun Govt Dismisses Defection Rumours, Reaffirms Adeleke’s Loyalty to PDP

The Osun State Govt Council has firmly denied rumours suggesting that Governor Ademola Adeleke plans to depart the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) forward of the 2026 governorship election.

At a press briefing held on the Authorities Secretariat, the Discussion board of Commissioners and Particular Advisers pledged their continued help for the governor and dismissed the defection claims as unfounded.

Talking on behalf of the 35 council members, Barrister Dosu Babatunde stated, “We specific our complete solidarity and unwavering help for the Governor of Osun State and chief of the PDP within the state, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.”

Babatunde described the hypothesis as “a political fallacy” propagated by opposition parts, calling it a deliberate try and destabilize the administration.

He added that Governor Adeleke stays dedicated to the PDP, and his administration’s improvement agenda will proceed underneath the celebration’s platform.

“Governor Adeleke isn’t shifting to every other political celebration; it’s even depraved to counsel such,” Babatunde acknowledged.

He additional assured that the folks of Osun would once more again Adeleke in 2026, citing ongoing infrastructural and social interventions as causes for public help.
