The Home of Representatives on Tuesday took a serious step towards extending the lifespan of the capital part of the 2024 nationwide price range, passing a invoice for second studying that proposes shifting the implementation deadline from June 30 to December 31, 2025.
The invoice, offered by Deputy Majority Chief Ibrahim Abdullahi Halims, is titled: “A Invoice for an Act to Amend the 2024 Appropriation Act to Additional Lengthen the Capital Parts of the Act From thirtieth June 2025 to thirty first December, 2025 and for Associated Issues (HB.2404).”

Whereas addressing the chamber, Speaker Abbas Tajudeen mentioned the extension was essential, citing the restricted progress made to this point in implementing the price range.
