Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has opened up about her battle with melancholy.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, she revealed that for 3 years, she stored telling folks she was 32, and when she realised she was 25, she fell into melancholy. According to her, her thoughts couldn’t take the truth of her age.

Yemi mentioned she was mentally challenged for 3 years as she didn’t know her true age.

“There was a time somebody requested me my age, and I stored saying for 3 years I used to be 22. Then I realised I used to be 25 years previous. I took out my cellphone and I did the arithmetic. I used to be depressed for a couple of days. My thoughts wasn’t taken into course of.

It was psychological, for 3 years I didn’t know my proper age”.

In an Instagram publish, the Grammy-winning singer shared a couple of phrases of knowledge relating to friendship and relationship bonds not too long ago.
