…60 Indigents Benefit from the Scheme’s First Phase
The Ajoke Ayisat Afolabi Foundation (AAAF), the philanthropic arm of SIFAX Group, in partnership with Ogun North East Local Government, has enrolled 60 residents from ten rural communities within the first section of a free medical health insurance scheme geared toward bettering entry to high quality healthcare for the aged and weak.
The programme was held on the 400 seater neighborhood corridor constructed by Dr Taiwo Afolabi, Chairman of SIFAX Group and AAAF. Beneficiaries have been drawn from Isade, Ajowa, Idomila, Iken, Igbogila, Rasonwa, Ilefon, Ileshe, Sanyindo and Idomowo villages.
Speaking on the occasion, the Foundation’s Executive Coordinator, Mrs Foluke Ademokun, who represented Dr Afolabi, defined the motivation behind the initiative whereas presenting a cheque to representatives of the Ogun State Health Insurance Agency (OGSHIA).
