Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat have congratulated the Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, on his 72nd birthday.
Abiodun, in a message shared on his official X account, described Oyedepo’s birthday as an occasion to celebrate his decades of service to God and humanity, as well as his contributions to spiritual development, education and nation-building.
The governor extended the greetings on behalf of the Ogun State Government and residents, noting that the state was home to the Faith Tabernacle in Ota and other institutions established through Oyedepo’s ministry.
“On behalf of our Government and the good people of Ogun State, we warmly congratulate and celebrate Pastor David Olaniyi Oyedepo, Founder of @WinnersWLD and Senior Pastor of the Faith Tabernacle, Ota, as he marks his 72nd birthday,” Abiodun said.
He added, “We celebrate your decades of dedicated service to God and humanity, as well as your significant contributions to spiritual development, education and nation-building.”
Abiodun further said, “We are particularly proud that Ogun State is home to the Faith Tabernacle and other institutions through which your ministry continues to impact lives.”
He prayed for renewed strength, good health and wisdom for the cleric, while wishing him many more years of service.

“As you mark this special occasion, we pray that Almighty God grants you renewed strength, sound health, greater wisdom and many more fulfilling years of service,” the governor said.
Meanwhile, in a separate post on X, Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat said he visited Oyedepo alongside Princess Damilola Sonayon James, Deputy Governorship Candidate, and members of the 2027 Lagos APC Campaign Council to celebrate the bishop on his birthday and seek his counsel on the future of Lagos.
“We celebrated with him on his special day while listening to his thoughts and seeking his counsel on the future of Lagos. I value his wisdom and the perspective he brings to leadership and service,” Hamzat said.
The Lagos deputy governor also said the team remained focused on consolidating the progress recorded in the state and pursuing further development.
“We are focused on building on the progress we have made and creating an even brighter future for Lagos. There is much more to do and we will continue to do it with purpose and a genuine commitment to our people,” he added.
