Veteran Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has graduated from the National Open University of Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.

The actor announced the achievement on Saturday via his Instagram page.

“Today, I am proud to be conferred with a BSc in Peace and Conflict Resolution. Done and dusted,” he wrote.

Amusan, who is also the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, attributed the milestone to divine support.

“To God be all the glory. Thank you, Lord, for the successful convocation,” he added.

He also expressed gratitude to his support system.

“My sincere appreciation to my family, friends, and well-wishers for your love and support.”

The comic actor enrolled at NOUN in 2017, returning to formal education after over two decades due to earlier financial constraints.

Born in Gbongan, Osun State, Amusan began his acting career in 1988 and ventured into comedy in 1991.

He got the nickname “Mr Latin” after speaking French on set during the 1992 film 50-50, which a producer mistakenly identified as Latin.
