The African Democratic Congress, ADC, Adamawa State, has endorsed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as its preferred presidential candidate ahead of the party’s presidential primary election scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026.
In a statement issued by the party leadership in the state, the ADC said the endorsement followed extensive consultations and unanimous agreement among stakeholders, leaders and members across Adamawa State.
The party described Atiku Abubakar as a leader with the experience, patriotism and commitment needed to reposition Nigeria for peace, stability, economic prosperity and national unity.
The statement called on party members across the country to overwhelmingly support and vote for the former Vice President during the primary election.
