The All Progressives Congress candidate for Ogbaru Federal Constituency in Anambra State, Arinzechukwu Awogu, has intensified consultations with political stakeholders and grassroots residents ahead of the upcoming general elections.
Awogu, during engagements across the constituency, urged voters to support APC candidates across elective positions, from the presidency to the State House of Assembly.
He highlighted what he described as federal interventions under President Bola Tinubu, including the rehabilitation of road infrastructure in the South-East and ongoing work around the Onitsha Bridgehead.
Awogu said electing APC candidates at both federal and state levels would strengthen Ogbaru’s connection to the Federal Government and improve its prospects of attracting infrastructure and development projects.
He, however, expressed concern over the condition of major access roads into Ogbaru and several uncompleted federal projects in the constituency.
The APC candidate pledged to use his position as a member of the governing party to pursue what he described as functional representation and infrastructure renewal across the 16 political wards that make up Ogbaru Federal Constituency.
Awogu said his campaign would remain focused on engaging directly with constituents and addressing their concerns on infrastructure and development.
