Senate Committee Chairman on Labour and Productivity Senator Diket Plang has described APC National Assembly Party primaries election in Plateau state as a Charade,saying there was no Primaries at all.
Plang anan interview with news men at his party Secretariat in Jos on thursday ,said what took place in Plateau was a charade as they were no elections in most of the Electoral wards in the state but yet results were doctored and presented to the Party officials that were sent from national Headquarters if the party to conduct the Primaries.
According to him , what took place on the Plateau was unacceptable in a democratic society and called on his party appeal Officials to look into their petitions right before them and right the wrongs done to them.
He added that he beliefs in his party to stand for justice, Fairness saying the party should not allow anybody to select those who should represent the people in 2027 Democratic setting but allow the people to elect their leaders
As at thursday this week there were !5 petitions from those who wanted to run for national Assembly seats from the state pending before the Appel body on the Plateau. .
