According to a report from Symfoni News on Friday, July 10, 2026, Abayomi Arabambi, National Publicity Secretary of the Lamidi Apapa-led faction of the Labour Party, has expressed apprehension about President Bola Tinubu’s re-election prospects in 2027.
He identified former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the opposition figure best positioned to challenge him.
He said, “I have my fear for Tinubu, Atiku is the most potential candidate to defeat him in 2027.”
