The world football governing body announced the match officials in a post on its official X handle on Friday, July 17, 2026, confirming an experienced refereeing team for the tournament’s showpiece fixture.
According to FIFA, Vinčić will be assisted by fellow Slovenians Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič as assistant referees, while Adham Makhadmeh of Jordan has been named the fourth official.
