The footage show a relaxed and euphoric atmosphere inside the changing room, with players in various states of post-match wind-down, jerseys off and boots discarded, as the former Black Stars captain threw himself into the festivities with characteristic energy.
Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s all-time record goalscorer with 51 international goals, had already made his presence felt earlier in the tournament build-up when he was mobbed by Ghanaian fans at a hotel in Canada ahead of the opening fixture.
