The shortlist for the ballon d’or nominees 2026 has been revealed, representing the 70th year of the Ballon d’Or, which recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievements in the world of football during the 2025/26 season.
On Tuesday, the nominees were announced via the award body’s X handle.
Nominees for Men’s and Women’s Striker of the Year, outstanding young talent, goalkeepers, teams, and coaches who succeeded last season were also announced, among other categories.
