Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate, Ricky, has opened up about his decision to quit university in his final year, saying overwhelming academic stress pushed him to abandon his studies.
Ricky made the revelation on Monday while housemates discussed mental health, stress and the different ways people cope with pressure in their daily lives.
The housemate said the academic demands had become too much for him and he eventually decided to leave school rather than continue under the pressure.

“When they say, ‘I can’t kill myself,’ that is me. I dropped out of university in my final year because it was stressing me out. I didn’t want to do that again. I was going to watch movies,” Ricky said.
Despite leaving university only a year away from completing his programme, Ricky said he has no regrets about the decision.
He explained that walking away from his studies gave him the opportunity to redirect his attention to other interests and priorities.
