The development means the duo will compete on the same terms as the other housemates for the season’s N160 million grand prize.
Biggie announced the change to Aikou and Flora during Monday’s diary room nomination session, informing them that they would henceforth be treated like every other contestant in the house.
As gambits, Aikou and Flora had previously been protected from nominations and evictions and were guaranteed a place in the house until the finale.

The pair were selected by viewers as the season’s gambits following a twist introduced at the beginning of the competition.
However, their protected status was overturned during Sunday’s live eviction show when host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced that viewers could vote to release the gambits and make them full contestants in the competition.
Following the change, Aikou and Flora can now be nominated by fellow housemates and face possible eviction based on the outcome of public voting in subsequent weeks.
