Traditional Ruler and Philanthropist, the Kauran Saminaka, Alhaji Umar Adamkolo Umar, has appealed to Nigerian Youths to be the Vanguards for a more peaceful and prosperous society wherever they find themselves.
He made the appeal in Kano, at his investiture as the Grand Patron of the Democratic Youth Assembly of Nigeria and the presentation of a Peace Ambassador Plate Number, in recognition of his contributions to peace, youth empowerment, and community development.
Alhaji Umar Adamkolo urges the Youths, particularly students, to remain law-abiding, concentrate on their studies and embrace entrepreneurship and vocational skills in the march to a self-sustainable future.

He commended the Democratic Youth Assembly of Nigeria for the honour, saying that it will spur him to continue assisting the less privileged in the society and vowed to support the organization morally and financially to achieve its objectives.
Presenting the award, the President of the Democratic Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Ambassador Zaharaddeen Yahaya, said the honour was bestowed purely on merit and in recognition of Kauran Saminaka’s commitment to promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, and humanitarian activities across the country.
According to him, the organisation carefully selected the recipient after assessing his consistent support for young people, his encouragement of dialogue, and his efforts in fostering harmony among different communities.
He described Kauran Saminaka as a leader whose actions have inspired many youths to embrace peace, hard work, and patriotism, adding that the organisation was proud to appoint him as its patron.
