According to a report by Daily Post on Friday, July 10, 2026, Ali Ndume, the Senator representing Borno South Senatorial District, has reacted to the successful rescue of the schoolchildren and teachers who were abducted in Oyo State, saying that similar attention should now be directed toward Borno State, particularly his senatorial district, where many victims of kidnapping are still being held by their captors.
