Real Madrid is preparing to break the transfer world record with a €223 million offer for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, according to Goal. Club president Florentino Perez wants to land the star to lead a fresh wave of ‘Galacticos’ at the Spanish giants.
The deal would surpass the current record of €222 million, set when Paris Saint-Germain signed Neymar from Barcelona. Olise, a France international, is believed to be interested in joining Madrid.
The 21-year-old is currently at the World Cup with France and has already delivered five assists in the tournament. Bayern Munich expects him to discuss his future after the competition ends, with growing concerns he may push for an exit.
