Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has rejected calls for amnesty or rehabilitation for terrorists, insisting that individuals responsible for killing innocent people and destroying communities should be prosecuted rather than forgiven.
According to a video shared on the official Channels Television YouTube channel on June 24, 2026, the governor made the remarks while discussing Nigeria’s security challenges and measures needed to tackle violent crime. Speaking on the issue, Sani said: “There is nothing like a repentant terrorist. They kill and destroy, they shouldn’t be forgiven.”
