Families of officers detained over the alleged coup plot to oust President Bola Tinubu have accused the military of torture and human rights violations in the ongoing court-martial proceedings. Naija News reports that the spokesperson for the wives of the detained military officers, Aishatu Yusufu, made the allegation during a press briefing in Abuja on Friday.
Yusufu lamented that they were compelled to speak out, noting that the truth about the case is being suppressed.
