According to a report by Punch on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for bringing an end to what he described as the era of abandoned road projects in Abuja.
The president praised the minister for ensuring that infrastructure projects initiated by the FCT Administration are completed rather than left unfinished.
