Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is hoping Victor Osimhen will recover in time to feature against Trabzonspor in Saturday’s important Turkish Super Lig encounter.
Osimhen has been unavailable for Galatasaray’s last two matches after picking up an injury, leaving Buruk eager to have his leading striker back for the difficult trip to Papara Park.
Galatasaray facing a difficult test
The reigning Turkish champions suffered a 3-1 defeat away to Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday before returning to domestic action with a narrow 1-0 victory over Kocaelispor at RAMS Park on Sunday.
Galatasaray will now face a Trabzonspor side looking to respond after their 1-0 defeat to Konyaspor in their most recent league outing.
Buruk expects the hosts to provide a stern test, particularly with Trabzonspor determined to claim a notable victory over the defending champions.

The Galatasaray boss believes having Osimhen and midfielder Mario Lemina available would give his team a stronger squad for the encounter.
Buruk hopeful over Osimhen and Lemina
Speaking to Galatasaray’s official website, Buruk acknowledged the difficulty of the fixture while stressing the importance of having key players return from injury.
“It’s a tough away game. They (Trabzonspor) have a very good squad. Their only desire will be to win against Galatasaray. We will also prepare this week. If our players can return, and if we can get Osimhen and Lemina ready, we will field a stronger squad,” Buruk said.
