Nigerian music star David Adeleke, higher referred to as Davido, has expressed his appreciation to his father for defending him amid his paternity saga.
NewsWatch reported on Wednesday that the singer’s father had held a press convention to deal with the paternity controversy involving his son. He acknowledged that Anu shouldn’t be his granddaughter and shared particulars of DNA exams he claimed had been performed prior to now.
He accused investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, of impersonating the minor on-line to assault Davido. The singer’s dad questioned the legality of impersonating a minor and accused Olunloyo of persistently focusing on his son. Mr Adeleke mentioned the household is contemplating authorized motion over what he described as sustained defamation.
In his Instagram story, he thanked his billionaire father for clearing the air.
“Thank you, my loving father”, he wrote.
Last week, Anu, in an Instagram publish, requested a DNA check to determine her id. She shared her struggles with bullying and psychological anguish, saying classmates mocked her claims of being Davido’s daughter.
Responding to her, Davido denied paternity, saying he had already undergone 5 DNA exams, all of which had been adverse. The singer expressed frustration and disappointment, threatening to take motion in opposition to Anu’s mom, saying she wanted to be held accountable.
Hitting again, Anu expressed devastation at how he was cursing and bullying her and even threatening to lock her mom up. She claimed that the singer hadn’t met her mom but, was publicly calling her a butch and claiming he did 5 DNA exams together with her.
Speaking out, Anu’s mum shared screenshot of Anu’s chat with the singer, noting how he had largely ignored her for years as a result of he thought he picked up a prostītute from the GQ membership in Ibadan. She requested that the US State Department contact the mission in Lagos or Abuja to assist them supervise and witness a clear, impartial DNA check.
