Designer Recreates Priscilla Ojo’s Traditional Wedding Outfit, Video Sparks Mixed Reactions

A Nigerian fashion designer has gone viral after recreating one of Priscilla Ojo’s iconic traditional wedding outfits for a bride, sparking mixed reactions across social media.

Priscilla, the daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, made headlines last year after her lavish wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, with several of her bridal looks becoming fashion inspiration for many brides.

A year after the ceremony, a designer recreated one of Priscilla’s traditional outfits for a client. In the viral video, the bride confidently showed off the attire, which closely resembled the original design worn by Priscilla.

The recreation has since generated widespread debate on X and other social media platforms. While some users praised the effort, others felt the outfit failed to capture the elegance and fit of the original look.
