Jessie and D’Lila Combs, the 19-year-old twin daughters of Sean “Diddy” Combs, have publicly defended their father, describing him as an “amazing” parent despite his recent criminal conviction.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the twins said they remain in regular contact with the music mogul, who is currently in custody after being convicted on prostitution-related charges in his federal racketeering and sex trafficking case.

They said Diddy continues to play an active role in their lives and is committed to personal growth. “He’s an amazing father,” they said, adding that he is “focused on becoming a better man for his family.” The interview also addressed the release of surveillance footage showing Combs assaulting his former girlfriend, singer Cassie, in a hotel corridor in 2016.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the rapper later apologised to his daughters after the footage became public and was presented as evidence during his criminal trial. Beyond discussing their father, Jessie and D’Lila spoke about launching their fashion label, 12TWINTY1, and its debut “777 Collection.”

The pair said they were confident about pursuing careers in fashion and modelling and credited their father with supporting their ambitions by offering guidance and encouragement. They also said they hope to follow in the footsteps of their late mother, model Kim Porter.

Responding to suggestions that they have benefited from family connections, the twins rejected the label of “nepo babies,” insisting they are working to build their careers through their own efforts rather than relying on their father’s fame. Meanwhile, Combs is seeking to overturn his conviction through the appeals process.
