Divorce frees you — Media personality Hauwa claims

Nigerian media personality and content creator Hauwa, has shared her two cents on the topic of divorce, revealing that it is not something she is against.

Speaking via her X handle, the creator explained that she believes people should not have to put up with being unhappy just because they are married.

Hauwa claimed that divorce frees unhappy people from the ties of marriage, allowing them to find happiness again.

”I believe in divorce like mad because forever is a long time, and whether you’re a woman or a man, you should not have to condemn yourself to unhappiness for the rest of your life,” she wrote.

Her statement, however, did not sit well with some users who claimed she should not be speaking on such topics as she is yet to be married.
