Nigerian Afrobeats artist and music executive Donny Crown, born Ishola Abdul Rasaq Adedoyin, has released two new singles, “Gimme Life” and “God Abeg.” The songs were released on June 26, 2026, through Most Exclusive Doings Entertainment (MEDE).
The lead single, “Gimme Life,” features Nigerian singer and songwriter Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, professionally known as Skales.
Produced by Iniobong Adobafo, the uptempo Afrobeats record explores themes of romance, celebration, and feel good vibes. Characterized by its energetic production and danceable rhythm.
The second single, “God Abeg,” presents a more reflective sound. The Afrobeats record explores themes of faith, gratitude, and personal reflection, incorporating Yoruba-language elements into its composition.
Since their release, the two singles have gained traction through placements on mainstream playlists across digital streaming platforms, contributing to their visibility among listeners.
The project was subsequently followed by the release of an official music video. It marks Donny Crown’s latest musical release and adds to his growing catalogue of recordings and collaborations within Nigeria’s contemporary music scene.
