“Don’t ever kill yourself trying to please a woman” – Pastor Funke Adejumo advises men

Popular pastor Funke Adejumo of Agape Christian Ministries has advised married men not to lose themselves in an attempt to satisfy women, stating that no man can completely please a woman.

Speaking during a sermon, the clergywoman said women naturally desire change and improvement, using beauty routines as an example to explain why men should not put themselves under unnecessary pressure.

According to her, even God, who created women perfectly, did not make them stop seeking changes in their appearance.

“To all married men, don’t ever k!ll yourself trying to please a woman. I’m a woman speaking to you, and there is nobody who can please a woman to the fullest,” she said.

Pastor Adejumo noted that women often alter what they naturally have despite believing they are beautifully created by God, stressing that this should remind men that perfection is impossible.

She encouraged husbands to love and care for their wives but warned against exhausting themselves in a bid to meet every expectation.

“God gave us natural nails, we cut them and put on artificial ones. He gave us natural hair, we remove it and wear wigs. If God cannot please us completely, who are you to think you can? she added.”

Her remarks have generated mixed reactions online. While some people agreed with her message and described it as practical marriage advice, others argued that healthy relationships require both partners to make sacrifices for each other.

The statement has continued to spark conversations on social media about marriage expectations, self-worth, and the pressure many spouses place on themselves to keep their partners happy.
