Chief Emeka Agba has announced his withdrawal from the 2027 presidential election, citing personal reasons,
In a statement made available to the press on Wednesday, he said, “After deep personal reflection and extensive consultations with my family and legal consultants, I have decided to withdraw my intention to contest the 2027 Presidential Election due to personal reasons.
“This decision was not easy, considering the passion, encouragement, and overwhelming support I have received from many well-meaning Nigerians who believed in this movement and our shared vision for a better nation.”
He thanked everyone who stood with him, contributed ideas, participated in discussions, offered support, and believed in the possibility of a new direction for Nigeria.
However, he stated that this is not the end of the vision or the movement he started, adding that “leadership also requires patience, strategic reassessment, and proper timing.”
He urged all members and supporters on his platform to “remain calm, united, and focused as the moment has come for us to restrategize, reorganize, and prepare ahead of 2031.”
He reiterated that “his dream for a better Nigeria remains alive, and with God on our side, the future remains bright.
Emeka Agba encouraged his supporters and well-wishers to exercise their democratic rights by supporting and voting for any candidate of their choice in the coming elections.
He disclosed that he will take some time to consult widely, reorganize, and work towards the formation of a credible political party that will stand firmly against corruption, injustice, and bad governance.
He stressed that his goal is to build a transparent, people-oriented, and corruption-free political platform that will provide the foundation for pursuing his presidential aspirations towards 2031.
