Ovie Success Ossai, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, has stated that political dynamics in the South-East are shifting ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the region’s support for Peter Obi expected to weaken compared to the 2023 polls.
In a post his Facebook page on Thursday, July 2, 2026, Ossai argued that Obi’s strong showing in the 2023 presidential election would not be easily repeated.
