The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has announced plans for her burial, with a funeral service scheduled to hold in Ogun State.
In a notice shared on the actress’ official Instagram page on Friday, the family said Osoba will be laid to rest on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Saint James Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
The family also announced a dress code for mourners, requesting attendees to appear in white for the burial service.
The announcement came shortly after colleagues and friends of the actress unveiled plans for a candlelight and artiste night in her honour.

The tribute event, themed ‘An Evening of Love, Music & Memories’, is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, at LTV 8, Blueroof, Ikeja, Lagos.
Osoba died at the age of 40, with her passing announced on Wednesday by fellow actor Alesh Sanni, who described her as his “dearest sister”.
The actress was popular for her roles in Yoruba-language Nollywood productions and had previously spoken publicly about her battle with cancer.
In August 2025, Osoba announced her return to acting after undergoing treatment, saying the experience had renewed her commitment to healing and advocacy.
Following her death, the family appealed to the public to disregard speculation surrounding the circumstances of her passing and requested privacy as they mourn her.
