The Federal Government has invited Nigerians, businesses, investors, professional bodies, civil society organisations, academics and other stakeholders to submit proposals for the Finance Bill 2027.
The Federal Ministry of Finance, in a statement on Friday, said the initiative was aimed at gathering practical and evidence-based recommendations to improve Nigeria’s fiscal laws.
According to the ministry, the proposed amendments should focus on improving the ease of doing business and investment, strengthening tax administration and revenue mobilisation, and promoting fiscal transparency and accountability.
The government also wants proposals that would reduce unnecessary regulatory and administrative burdens while supporting productivity, competitiveness and sustainable economic growth.
The ministry urged stakeholders to identify specific gaps in existing laws and recommend practical amendments capable of delivering measurable improvements to the economy.
Submissions are expected on or before Friday, September 11, 2026.
Stakeholders can submit their proposals by email to [email protected] or through the Federal Ministry of Finance’s online platform.
