The legal representative of Bishop Daniel Obinim has entered the couple’s increasingly public marital dispute, taking aim at Florence Obinim over her recent disclosures about her living conditions and publicly revealing details about her near-fatal cosmetic surgery experience in Spain.
Speaking during a TikTok live session, the lawyer, who claims to have represented Obinim for two decades, pushed back against Florence’s revelation that she is forced to take Uber because her husband took away the only car she considered hers and gave it to another woman.
“Florence used to be very nice but now she’s changed. I am surprised why she would go on air to say she takes Uber,” he said.
The lawyer went further to disclose that Florence had undergone plastic surgery in Spain against Obinim’s wishes, and that the Bishop spent significantly to keep her alive when complications arose during the procedures.
“When you went to Spain for those surgeries and went through pains, who was spending his money to save your life?” he said, adding that Obinim also purchased a house in Florence’s name in Spain. “How many Ghanaians can afford a house in Spain? But he bought a house in your name in Spain. So why would you embarrass him like that?”
The intervention comes as Bishop Obinim has also publicly announced plans to vacate the matrimonial home, citing Florence’s alleged disrespect and her association with socialite Osebo The Zaraman as among his grievances.
