Four members of the House of Representatives from Kano State have officially defected from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Their defection was announced on Wednesday during plenary by the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, who read their notices on the floor.
The lawmakers include Sani Wakili of Minjibir/Ungogo federal constituency, Muktar Zakari of Tarauni federal constituency, Umar Datti of Kura/Madobi/Garun Mallam federal constituency, and Abdulhakeem Ado of Wudil/Garko federal constituency.
