Seven clubs from Europe’s top five domestic leagues have maintained perfect records at the start of the 2026/27 season, winning every league match they have played so far.

The impressive list features some of the continent’s biggest names, with Barcelona representing Spain, Arsenal and Manchester City flying the flag for England, Inter Milan and AS Roma leading the way in Italy, while Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund have made the perfect start in Germany.

In Spain, Barcelona are the only club on the list. The Catalan giants have won all of their league fixtures so far, giving them a 100 per cent record at this stage of the campaign.

England has two representatives in Arsenal and Manchester City. Both Premier League heavyweights have collected maximum points from every league game played so far, keeping them among the early-season sides yet to drop a point.

Italy also has two clubs with perfect records. Inter Milan and AS Roma have both won every league match they have played, ensuring that neither side has suffered a defeat or been held to a draw at this early stage of the season.

Germany completes the list with Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund. Both Bundesliga clubs have also made winning starts, taking maximum points from all their league fixtures to remain among Europe’s early perfect-record sides.

Notably, no club from France’s Ligue 1 features on the list, meaning the current group of perfect-record teams comes from four of Europe’s traditional top-five leagues.

The seven clubs with 100 per cent league records are:

1. Barcelona — La Liga, Spain
2. Arsenal — Premier League, England
3. Manchester City — Premier League, England
4. Inter Milan — Serie A, Italy
5. AS Roma — Serie A, Italy
6. Freiburg — Bundesliga, Germany
7. Borussia Dortmund — Bundesliga, Germany

With the season still in its early stages, maintaining a perfect record will become increasingly difficult as the fixtures intensify and the clubs face stronger opposition.

For now, however, these seven sides remain the only clubs from Europe’s top five leagues to have won every league game they have played this season.
