The Ghana Passport Office has dismissed reports circulating online claiming that actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has been issued a diplomatic or service passport.
In a statement addressing the claims, the Passport Office described the reports as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard the information.
The Office clarified that Fella Makafui is only a holder of Ghana’s ordinary passport, which is issued to citizens for regular travel purposes.
“The general public is advised to treat such claims with contempt and disregard any information suggesting that she holds a diplomatic passport,” the statement said.
Authorities also cautioned the public against spreading unverified information and encouraged individuals to confirm facts before sharing content online.
The clarification comes after social media discussions about the type of passport allegedly held by the actress.
