Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has fulfilled his pledge to support the medical treatment of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu by approving the payment of ₦25 million to the hospital where she is receiving care.
The development was disclosed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, Dr Justice Okey Martins, popularly known as JMartins, in a post shared on his official X handle, on Thursday, July 30.
According to JMartins, the payment was made on Tuesday before the close of business following the governor’s directive.

“Yesterday before the close of work, His Excellency @alexottiofr our pragmatic leader made good his promise, directing a 25M payment to the hospital’s account where our Nollywood legendary actress Mrs Ngozi Nwosu is receiving treatment,” he wrote.
JMartins expressed appreciation to Governor Otti for honouring his commitment and supporting the actress during her health challenge.
“We thank you immensely for your support and kindness of heart sir. History will be kind to you,” he added.
JMartins had earlier disclosed on Tuesday, that the Abia Governor approved the first tranche of medical support for the veteran Nollywood actress following reports of her health condition.
