Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of former Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, who died on Saturday after a prolonged illness.
This was contained in a condolence message issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, in Kano on Sunday.
Governor Yusuf described late Galadima as an accomplished sports administrator, a respected statesman, and a community leader who devoted his life to the advancement of football and public service in Nigeria.

He noted that during his tenure as NFF Chairman, Galadima made significant contributions to the growth and development of football in the country, earning widespread respect and admiration within and beyond the sporting community.
