…Says someone must rise to break the pattern
The Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor, has warned that ancestral network can travel far into generations if it is not spiritually confronted and dismantled.
Dr. Okafor made this known during the Grace Nation Prophecy, Healing, Deliverance and Solutions, PHDS, service held at the international headquarters of the church in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos, on Wednesday.
In a short but loaded sermon before leading the congregation into strategic prayers, the man of God taught on the subject _“Cutting Down Ancestral Network.”_
He explained that many families are locked in repeated cycles of failure, sickness, delay, and poverty because the ancestral spirit operating in their father’s house has not been addressed.
“You must understand the power and workings of the ancestral spirit of your father’s house to break out of the same pattern,” Dr. Okafor said. “Someone must rise to the occasion. If no one rises to confront that spirit, the same story will repeat in that family for generations.”
The Case of Moses
Using scriptural examples, Dr. Okafor noted that even great servants of God can be limited by ancestral patterns if they are not broken.
“Moses was a true servant of God. He led Israel out of bondage and spoke with God face to face. But he could not enter the Promised Land simply because he did not break out of the ancestral spirit in his family,” he said.
The Generational Prophet explained that ancestral networks operate like invisible laws that enforce negative patterns in a family line — late marriage, sudden death, career stagnation, business collapse, and foundational sickness.
“It doesn’t matter how hard you work. You can be close to breakthrough or to the peak of your career, but if the ancestral spirit is not chased out, all your efforts will be frustrated,” he warned.
Strategic Prayers and Deliverance
Dr. Okafor led the congregation into intensive prayers to dismantle every ancestral network working against their destinies. He declared that every covenant, bloodline agreement, and generational yoke programmed to waste destinies was broken by the power of God.
“From today, the cycle is broken in your family,” he decreed. “The spirit that wasted your father will not waste you. The pattern that delayed your siblings will not delay you. Someone must rise, and that someone is you.”
He urged believers to be prayerful, live in righteousness, and consistently speak the word of God over their families to enforce their freedom.
A Call to Rise
Dr. Okafor emphasized that deliverance requires knowledge, prayer, and action. He charged members to identify and confront negative patterns in their lineage so that future generations can walk in freedom.
“When you break that ancestral network, you are not just saving yourself. You are saving your children and generations yet unborn,” he said.
The service featured worship, prophetic ministrations, and mind-blowing deliverance. Many worshippers testified to instant breakthroughs, freedom from oppression, and divine direction.
