…Says it is not difficult for God to answer prayers
The Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, The Generational Prophet, Dr. Chris Okafor*, has declared that the reason many prayers of believers are yet to manifest is not because God has not answered, but because of the spirit of hindrance and delay.
Dr. Okafor made this known during the church’s mid-week Prophecy, Healing, Deliverance and Solutions Service – PHDS held at the international headquarters in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos.
Teaching on the subject, the man of God said it is an established fact that many things children of God have been praying for have long been answered by God in the spirit, but one hindrance or the other is holding back the manifestation.
The Spirit Behind Hindrance
Highlighting the operations of the spirit of hindrance, Dr. Okafor said it is responsible for keeping many people in a state of delay, stagnation and limitations.
“Hindrance makes people to see their future as impossible,” the Generational Prophet said. “Sometimes God would have answered your prayers a long time ago, but the spirit of hindrance and delay will keep you in the state of expectation. You are waiting for what God has already released.”
He explained that hindrance is a spirit that fights progress, destiny and divine timing. It blocks opportunities, frustrates efforts, and makes a person run in circles despite working hard and praying.
“When hindrance is at work in a man’s life, testimonies will be delayed. Open doors will be shut. Helpers will forget you. And you will begin to think God has abandoned you,” he said.
Hindrance as a Spirit
Dr. Okafor further taught that hindrance and delay are not just circumstances, they are spirits that must be confronted spiritually.
According to him, these spirits specialize in stopping good things from getting to their owners. They delay promotions, marriages, contracts, conception, and breakthroughs.
“The devil knows that if he can delay you, he can frustrate you. If he can limit you, he can make you doubt God,” he said. “That is why you must rise in the place of prayer and prophecy to command every hindrance to give way.”
The Generational Prophet noted that many believers are sitting on their answers because they have not engaged in aggressive prayers to clear every obstruction.
“It is not difficult for God to answer prayers,” he emphasized. “What is difficult is for man to locate and deal with the hindrance standing between him and his testimony.”
Breaking the Yoke of Delay
Dr. Okafor charged the congregation to pray strategically and prophetically to break every chain of delay. He said believers must begin to speak into their lives, command open doors, and reject the spirit of limitation.
“From today, every spirit of hindrance assigned to delay your destiny is destroyed,” he declared. “Every mountain blocking your testimony, be leveled. Every door shut against you, open by fire.”
He urged worshippers to maintain consistency in prayer, holiness, and obedience, stressing that these are keys to accessing and retaining God’s blessings without interference.
