A 19-year-old identified as Emmanuel Chinge, has been k!lled by gunmen in Irigwe Chiefdom, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
In a statement, the National Publicity Secretary of Irigwe Youth Movement (IYM), Joseph Yonkpa, said Chinge was k!lled on Sunday, June 29, 2026 at Nche-tahu in Nkien-whie District of Irigwe.
The group expressed concern at what it described as the deteriorating security situation in Irigwe land.
The group alleged that repeated attacks were threatening lives and destroying farms, resulting in economic hardship.
It called for support for the communities affected by insecurity.
