According to a report by Daily Post Nigeria on Thursday, 25 June, 2026, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has been formally arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) over an alleged ₦8.68 billion contract scandal linked to a major CCTV surveillance project in Kaduna State.
The high-profile case, which is already attracting significant national attention, was filed before the Federal High Court in Kaduna and centres on allegations of corruption, money laundering and financial misconduct connected to the award and execution of a multi-billion-naira security contract.
