The Mandate Secretary for Education in the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, has congratulated Hon. Murtala Sule Garo on his swearing-in as the Deputy Governor of Kano State on Tuesday, describing the development as a significant milestone for the state.
Dr Hayyo, who is also a respected education administrator, disclosed this in a statement he personally signed on Tuesday, where he rejoiced with Garo over the new responsibility bestowed upon him.
In the statement, Dr Hayyo, a former Executive Chairman of the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) expressed joy over the inauguration, noting that Garo’s emergence as Deputy Governor reflects years of dedication, loyalty, and service to the people.

He described the moment as both historic and symbolic for continued progress in Kano State.

Dr Hayyo further stated that leadership at such a level requires wisdom, humility, and a strong commitment to the welfare of the people, adding that he has confidence in Garo’s capacity to contribute positively to governance in the state.
He added, “I have no doubt that you will justify the confidence reposed in you and work towards the development and unity of Kano State.”
The statement concluded with prayers for guidance and strength for the new Deputy Governor as he assumes office, while reaffirming support for efforts aimed at advancing good governance and development in the state.
