Hon Adewale Temitope Leads Tributes as Ifako-Ijaiye Marks Dr Olutayo Adewale’s 10th Remembrance

Member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, has paid glowing tribute to His late Dad Hon. (Dr.) Olutayo Elijah Adewale (Dr. JAH), saying the last 10 years since his Dad and the former lawmaker’s passing have been marked by struggle, pain and a commitment to sustaining his legacy.

Hon. Adewale Temitope made the remark during the 10th remembrance programme held on Tuesday in honour of the late former member of the House of Representatives, who represented Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency until his death.

Speaking at the event, the lawmaker said the vacuum created by the late Dr JAH’s death was enormous.

“It has been 10 years of struggle, pain and consistent hard work since our leader left us. His absence has been deeply felt, but his vision continues to inspire us every day,” he said.

He said the late lawmaker devoted his life to the service of humanity, empowering the less privileged and pursuing development across Ifako-Ijaiye.

Other speakers at the event eulogized the late Dr JAH and urged politicians to emulate his life and service to the people.

The late Dr JAH, as he was fondly called by admirers, is the founder of Ajumose Cooperative Society, the largest socio-political group in Ifako-Ijaiye and by extension, Lagos State.
